Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and powdered sugar. Mix until creamy, adding milk gradually to achieve your desired consistency. Separate into bowls and color using food coloring as needed.
- Once the cupcakes are cool, use a piping bag or knife to frost them. Create your daisy designs using the colored frosting, and add edible decorations for extra flair.
