Description
A delicious Spicy Jalapeno Pepper Jack Burger loaded with flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
- 4 burger buns
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1/2 cup lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Start by preparing your patties. In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Don’t overwork it—keeping the meat tender is key to that juicy bite. Form into four equal patties, pressing a slight indentation in the center so they cook evenly.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and brush lightly with olive oil. Once hot, place the patties down and let them cook undisturbed. That sizzling sound is exactly what you want—it’s building that flavorful crust.
- After about 3–4 minutes, flip the patties. This is when the magic happens. Place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty and let it melt slowly. Add the sliced jalapeños right on top so they soften slightly and infuse into the cheese.
- While the burgers finish cooking, lightly toast the buns. This step may seem small, but it adds a warm crunch that makes every bite better.
- Now assemble your Spicy Jalapeno Pepper Jack Burger. Spread mayonnaise on the buns, layer with lettuce, tomato, and onions, then place the cheesy, jalapeño-topped patty right in the center. Close it up and get ready for that first incredible bite.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer jalapeños.
- For extra flavor, consider adding other toppings like avocado or pickles.
