- 12 cup hard-boiled eggs
- ¼ white distilled vinegar
Instructions
- Prepare Vinegar Spray: Pour vinegar into a small spray bottle.
- Wrap Eggs: Place each egg (pointed end down) inside a coffee filter, securing it with a rubber band.
- Apply Dye: Wearing gloves if desired, add three drops of each color to the coffee filter. Let the dye spread naturally.
- Set Color: Lightly spritz each wrapped egg with vinegar and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Enhance Design: Unwrap the eggs and use the dye-soaked filters to dab any remaining white spots. Let dry for another 5 minutes.
- Add Stars: Dip the toothbrush into white paint, then flick the bristles with your thumb or finger to splatter the eggs. Rotate for even coverage.
- Dry & Enjoy: Let eggs dry for 15 minutes or overnight before handling.
