- 1 cup brewed chai tea (cooled)
- 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 2 tablespoons coffee (cold brew or espresso)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1–2 ice cubes (optional for a thicker texture)
Instructions
- Prepare your chai tea according to package instructions and allow it to cool completely.
- In a blender, add the cooled chai tea, banana, almond milk, cold brew coffee, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom.
- If you desire a thicker consistency, include one or two ice cubes in the blender.
- Blend the mixture on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or spices to your liking. Blend again if needed.
- Pour your Dirty Chai Smoothie into a glass.
