Ingredients

  • 10 oz Rotel Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 16 oz Velveeta Cheese
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup Diced Jalapeños
  • 1 cup Extra Cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess grease, add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is softened and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in Rotel tomatoes and chili powder, and allow to simmer gently for about 3 minutes.
  4. Add Velveeta cheese cubes to the skillet, stirring until melted and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Mix in cream cheese until fully incorporated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm with tortilla chips.
