Description

Delicious and healthy banana protein waffles that are easy to make and packed with nutrients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: toppings like Greek yogurt, berries, nut butter

Instructions

  1. Blend it all together in a high-speed blender, combine the rolled oats, banana, protein powder, egg, almond milk, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth. The batter will be slightly thick but pourable.
  2. Preheat your waffle iron. Grease your waffle maker with a non-stick spray or a brush of oil. Heat it up to medium-high—every waffle iron is different, so adjust based on yours.
  3. Cook the waffles by pouring the batter into the center of the waffle iron (usually about 1/3 cup per waffle depending on size). Close the lid and cook for about 3–5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
  4. Serve and enjoy carefully and serve immediately with your favorite toppings—fresh berries, Greek yogurt, or a drizzle of nut butter are all great options.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • These waffles freeze well; just reheat in the toaster.
