- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 6 slices turkey ham
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. This simple blend gives the chicken a warm, savory base that pairs beautifully with the rich toppings.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken in the pan and cook until golden on both sides and nearly cooked through. As the chicken sizzles, you’ll notice that delicious aroma building—it’s the kind that fills the kitchen and draws everyone in.
- Remove the chicken briefly and, in the same pan, sauté the mushrooms until they’re soft and slightly caramelized. This step adds depth and a subtle earthiness that balances the richness of the dish.
