Description

This air fryer beef brisket is flavorful and easy to prepare, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon flaky salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 2/5 pounds beef brisket (wrapped in string)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 365 F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, flaky salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and sage.
  3. Place the beef brisket in a tray and rub with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and Dijon mustard.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning all over the brisket and drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Gently press the rub in with your hands.
  5. Transfer the brisket into the air fryer basket (I line mine with parchment paper for easier clean up) and cook for 35 minutes for medium—slightly pink in the middle. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the thickness and weight of your brisket.
  6. Transfer the brisket to a cutting board and allow it to rest for 10 minutes. Remove the string and slice thinly with an electric carving knife.
  7. Serve with roasted carrots or mashed potatoes and enjoy!
